Diagnostics and Prognostics

Barron Associates has developed several technologies to reduce maintenance costs and improve safety in rotating machinery (e.g., gears and bearings), mechanical structures (e.g., aircraft fuselage, vertical stabilizers, trailing edge structures, and engine mounts), and complex dynamical systems (e.g., aircraft flight control systems). The methods are based around statistical and mathematical techniques such as extended constrained Kalman filters and bispectral analyses.
